It is more than thirteen years...

It is more than thirteen years since I last testified through our periodicals. Every day brings me added joy and gratitude for the daily proofs of the healing Christ, Truth, made manifest through the applied understanding of Christian Science.

In Science and Health, under the marginal heading "Spiritual freedom," Mrs. Eddy says (p. 191): "The human thought must free itself from self-imposed materiality and bondage. It should no longer ask of the head, heart, or lungs: What are man's prospects for life? Mind is not helpless. Intelligence is not mute before non-intelligence." And on page 410 of the same book she writes: "Every trial of our faith in God makes us stronger. The more difficult seems the material condition to be overcome by Spirit, the stronger should be our faith and the purer our love."

Through radical, steadfast holding to these truths I was healed of an extreme condition of heart trouble. The healing was not quick, but I knew that I had helped others to realize their freedom from similar conditions; so I never gave up, and eventually, the healing was completed.
