REALLY MEAN IT
[Of Special Interest to Children]
For several years Sherry had attended the Christian Science Sunday School. She could not yet read the words on the wall, "God is Love," but every Sunday the teacher read them to her.
Sometimes the children would take turns telling about God: "God is everywhere." "God is good." "God is Life." "God is Truth." Sometimes they would say the Commandments. Sherry liked all the Commandments. She liked to say the first one best (Ex. 20:3): "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
Mother helped her to learn the Commandments at home and told her that one way to keep them was to be loving and to know that because God is perfect, God's child is perfect also.
