Many have been the proofs of God's love, guidance, and protection which I have experienced through applying the rules of Christian Science as taught us by Mary Baker Eddy. I am grateful for every one of them, and especially grateful to Mrs. Eddy for having given this great religion to the world.

A few years ago I was teaching in a school located in a town where there was no Christian Science church or society. When I accepted this position it had met a need, for at that time it was necessary to be in that locality. Around January, however, I realized that this was no longer my place, and that I must endeavor to find my right one. As my contract allowed no changes till June, the end of the school year, I had plenty of time to work toward my goal.

In "Mother's Evening Prayer" by Mrs. Eddy (Poems, p. 4) we read,
