It is with a heart filled with love and gratitude for our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and for what she has done for mankind, that I give this testimony.
Christian Science has been my only physician for more than twenty years. Many problems have come up to be solved, but with the application of the truth as taught in Science they have disappeared.
I have been healed of chronic stomach trouble through the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and have been healed of the tobacco habit, after being an inveterate user of tobacco for forty-eight years. About seven years ago, I was stricken with a severe lameness in my right leg; I also had a cataract on my right eye. Through the loving work of a practitioner I was completely healed.
Although I am now eighty-three years of age, I am enjoying good health and harmony as a result of consistent study of the Bible and Science and Health. I am truly grateful for all the good that has come to me.
Thomas Boorman, Houston, Texas.
