It is with the deepest gratitude that I send this testimony of the healing power of Christian Science. My first healing took place over ten years ago. I asked for Christian Science treatment when physicians said they could do no more for me. I was healed, in a very short time, of what they had named paralysis of the bowels; and this healing has been permanent. Several years after this I was healed of a severe case of diphtheria.

I have had a great many physical healings; but far greater than these is knowing something of the truth that has healed me. At times my progress seems very slow, but I find that just in proportion to my obedience and willingness to give up self do I gain happiness and the "peace ... which passeth all understanding," as the Bible promises. I do not know what I would have done without my small knowledge of Christian Science during the eleven months that my husband was overseas; and he was most beautifully protected too.
