I wish to give my testimony of the many blessings that have come to me through the study of Christian Science. We have had many healings. The first one and the one that caused me to study Christian Science was the healing of my little son of tubercular trouble of the bone, manifested first in the foot, in the hip, and finally in the spine. He was strapped to a frame and had been in bed for about two years when I began the study of Christian Science and asked for treatment for him. I was very full of fear and felt that I could never take him out of the frame without medical advice, but in a very short time I felt impelled to remove part of the harness, and piece by piece I kept taking it off until it was all gone and I stood him on his feet. That was several years ago and he has been in perfect health ever since, and although one leg is still several inches shorter than the other one, I know that as I gain in understanding and succeed in giving up worldly things for Christian Science, I will see the perfection of God's child, made in His image and likeness.
