Over a year ago I was taken with a chill, followed by very high fever, and pain in the left lung so intense that I was fast losing consciousness. My sister called up a Christian Science practitioner, who commenced treatment at once. In thirty minutes I was sleeping soundly. The discordant conditions were all gone, and there was no return. I am a graduate of a medical college and practiced medicine with my husband a number of years, so I was familiar with these symptoms; also I had had what is called pneumonia twice. The first time my husband called two skillful physicians to work with him, and my son was notified and came from Chicago. It was six weeks before I was able to go to our office.

I wish to tell of another healing. A severe heart trouble was overcome in a few moments, when seemingly I was rapidly passing into the "valley of the shadow of death." This occurred some time after the healing referred to above, and the same practitioner lovingly took my case. Of the many problems that have come to me, all have been wonderfully and quickly worked out in Christian Science. As a representative of a Chicago company, I am out every day in all kinds of weather. I am now seventy-eight years of age, and know that the power of God enables me to go on with my work.

Words are inadequate to express my thankfulness to God and my gratitude to our revered Leader and to the many Christian Scientists here who have helped me.
