With a deep sense of gratitude I give this testimony of what Christian Science has done for me. It is over two years since I came into the true understanding of Christian Science and was healed of what is known as swamp fever, in one treatment. Just a short while before this I had the same kind of fever and was in bed three weeks under a doctor's care, with a nurse in attendance, and was very near death's door. At that time, I could not feed myself or walk alone for several days after getting up; but now I know that God is my strength. I have been healed of chills and fever that some of the best doctors tried in vain to cure for over two years. Fear and worry have also been overcome. When my baby was born I had Christian Science treatment and everything was harmonious. There were no after difficulties and I ate and slept normally during the whole time. Whooping cough, measles, burns, bowel trouble, and chills and fever,—all have been overcome in a short time for my two little children by the loving help of a practitioner.

I am most grateful for the spiritual healing, which has shown me that God is Love and that the good He bestows is the activity of right thinking, which casts out fear. My desire is to live this truth more and more every day, thereby giving glory to God and showing in a small way my gratitude for the life of Mrs. Eddy.
