I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. One afternoon, while going up a stairway with a heavy burden in my arms, I fell backward, dislocating my right shoulder, and was picked up in an unconscious condition. I was carried to a doctor's office, and my shoulder put back in place. To mortal sense the shoulder was paining me severely, and I was cautioned by the doctor to be very careful. After I had been encased in bandages and taken home, I called for a Christian Science practitioner, who came to the house. The practitioner gave me treatment, and in a few minutes I went to sleep.

When I awoke three hours later the pain was gone, and the next day I went to the doctor and asked him to take the bandages off, but he advised me to wait another twenty-four hours; then I told him I did not see that it was any use to be tied up longer, as the shoulder was all right. After examining it with the X-ray, he said everything was indeed all right, so he cut off the bandages. There was not even a discolored spot. While I used the shoulder with care, I did not have to lay off work for a moment on account of it. I am truly thankful to God and grateful to Christian Science that I am able to give this testimony. I am in excellent health today.
