I have had convincing proof that Christian Science heals the sick. My baby, about two years old, had bowel trouble in a very severe form. I had heard enough of Christian Science from my sister, who lives in a distant city, to know that I should rely upon Truth alone. I used all the understanding I had of Christian Science, but failed to meet the case, so decided to have a practitioner who lived here help me as the symptoms seemed too alarming to wait for a letter to reach my sister. The practitioner came to our home as soon as she was called, and worked faithfully, and in a week the child was healed. I gladly acknowledge this healing, and my desire is to be a real Christian Scientist.

It is now nearly fourteen years since I become interested in Christian Science, and I wish to add my testimony to help swell the praises of the healing religion practised by Christ Jesus, and brought to this age by our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, I was convinced of the wonderful healing power of Christian Science by seeing my wife healed from terrible injuries received from a runaway team. None who saw her at that time believed she would live till morning. A few hours after the accident she was removed a distance of about five miles to her home,—a Christian Science practitioner going with her and remaining through the night. The next morning my wife was up and dressed, and in a very short time she was entirely healed.
