It seems difficult to express in mere written words my gratitude for Christian Science. The fact is, Christian Science has done everything for my husband and myself. The understanding of God and the Science of Being gained from the study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," has brought out harmony in our home where before there seemed to be nothing but discord.
Before learning about Christian Science, nearly five years ago, I had been for twenty years a sufferer from chronic sick headaches. These have been entirely overcome through the understanding that sickness is not of God and is consequently unreal.
About three years ago I fell and partially dislocated my ankle. I was alone at the time, and for a little while the pain seemed intense. I immediately began to meet the suggestions of error with the denial of their reality and the affirmation of the allness of God. In a few minutes I was able to walk home and in a few days was perfectly well, having in the mean time performed all my household duties with practically no inconvenience. I had a somewhat similar experience once before when a believer in the law that matter has sensation and can be swollen or inflamed. Then I had to sit for two weeks with my foot in a plaster cast and for several months afterward I suffered more or less if I was on my feet for any length of time.
