After the lapse of a year and a half, during which I have thoughtfully and conscientiously applied myself to the study of Christian Science, I am now prepared to affirm with all the truth of my being that I believe this message of Mrs. Eddy to be the "Light which shineth in darkness,"— the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

"By their works ye shall know them" was the promise of the Galilean prophet, and the works which have been wrought in me through this healing Truth are such that scepticism and infidelity must forever be silent before them.

When I left Cleveland two years ago last November to seek health in Colorado, I left with the understanding that I was never to return, the death sentence of materia medica had been pronounced upon me, and I must pass the remainder of my days an exile from home and friends. This was the decision of two of the most eminent lung specialists in Cleveland, who pronounced my case pulmonary tuberculosis.
