Verses from the Eighty-sixth Psalm
Bow
down thine ear, O Lord,
And hear my humble prayer;
I poor and needy am,
And ever need thy care.
Preserve me from all fear
Of any seeming foe;
That thou, O God, art ever near,
Thy mercies daily show.
Teach me thy way to know,
That I may walk therein.
Unite my heart and voice in praise—
Forsaking every sin.
I'll praise thee, O my God,
With all my heart and voice;
And ever glorify thy name
And in thy Love rejoice.
