Found Life and Health in Good

Three years ago I was looking to a plaster of paris jacket for strength and support. I was a weary, discouraged wanderer in the wilderness of material sense, looking for life and health in matter, thinking I was looking to God.

Being a young wife and mother, with no prospect but that of deformity and helplessness, I turned gladly to Christian Science when my husband's father, who was the only one in the family who had been led to this glorious light, came asking us at least to try. How thankful I am to the eternal Good, that he caused us to seek and find.

All that materia medica could offer had been tried. Soon after beginning treatment, I was able to walk without the aid of the jacket, I began to get out of bondage and gained my freedom physically as the Truth unfolded in consciousness, and the facts of being began to be understood. I am convinced I would not be here to-day, had I not found Christian Science. Can my heart find words to express my gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and to all who so lovingly encouraged and helped me from darkness to light? As I look back into what would have been my experience, had not the Christ-Truth saved me, I pray that I may be faithful and obedient to divine Principle.
