Christian Science has won a victory in Illinois where the attorney-general has rendered a decision that no offence is committed by the treatment of a patient by mental or spiritual methods where no medicine is used. Really what right has the state to say that to any sick person medicine must be used regardless of whether he wishes it or not? Where are personal rights under such circumstances?
