Ottumwa Church Dedicated

First Church of Christ, Scientist, Ottumwa, Ia., has become a tangible factor in the life of that community. The newly acquired edifice, which has been remodeled and improved, was dedicated on Sunday, August 27, when the services were conducted by Mrs. Ruth B. Ewing, C.S.D., Second Reader of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Chicago, assisted by A. P. DeCamp, of the St. Louis church.

The address of welcome was read by Mrs. Lillie Harmon Benson, daughter of H. L. Harmon, First Reader of the Ottumwa church, Mrs. Benson said :—

Friends, co-workers, fellow students :— To each and all we extend a hearty welcome, and our earnest prayer is that these services may convey the true conviction that in Christian Science is an ever-present consciousness of peace on earth, good will to men. Through trials and tribulations are we seeking and finding a house not made with hands, a home whose builder and maker is divine Mind, and this is what the restless multitudes of this age are seeking, if they only knew it.
