In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

An indication that we are following God’s will is when we feel at peace. When we are able to humbly ask God to show us the way to heal a rift, argument, or misunderstanding by acknowledging our own spiritual individuality and, even more important, that of everyone else involved. 
My own experience with my mother-in-law taught me a lot about the importance of yielding, of being humble, letting divine Love guide my thoughts and actions.
This student driver was navigating a narrow mountain road when the most surprising message popped into his head. Read on to find out what happened next.

A better message

In order to experience progress and healing that embraces all, we need to replace disturbing messages with actual spiritual, peaceful truth.

Keeping prayer simple

We find healing through God when we give up any personal ownership to healing.

My “great concern”

God, as always, had provided just what I needed. It was as if the walls of a tunnel had been bulldozed, and light was suddenly pouring in. 

Nothing added or taken away

In recognizing the inherent completeness of all that really exists, we find peace in the truth that nothing that is truly of value or of genuine substance is ever lost.
Facing an injury at camp, this counselor in training discovered that her practice that summer of turning to God quickly and regularly prepared the way for a swift healing.

Undeterred

I held to the truth of God’s—divine Truth and Love’s—presence and protection.

Out of a job? Never!

As God’s reflection, each one of us is complete and secure and does not have to entertain doubts or fears about our livelihood. 

What will I do today?

Whatever I do today, I hope and pray to be alert to and aware of people around me who are in need, to recognize ways in which I can be of help, and to share something of Christ’s promise and blessing each day.
