More now, not more time

Sometimes I think about how much time I’ve wasted worrying about not having enough time.
My wife and I were having some family members and a close friend over for dinner on Christmas Day.
When I go walking outdoors, I like to put on headphones and listen to hymns on tape.
My sister had come from Togo to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays of 2004/5 with me and my husband.
University and college experiences vary.
I always think it’s strange to cross the international date line.
On a Southern California autumn morning, I woke up to the smell of smoke.
This is my family’s first holiday season with a loved one deployed overseas.
A wide variety of people come to the soup kitchen where I volunteer.
Among the commercials for products to help folks stop smoking are those that offer hope by saying “If you’ve tried and failed, we’ve got just the thing for you!”
November 16, 2005—As US President George Bush visits China this weekend, there is speculation about what his talks with China’s leaders can accomplish.
I’ve been thinking a lot about Thanksgiving.
