Thy way is my way

Not my will but God’s be done.
All head and heart to Thee be won.

Not personal view but good be seen.
Ever toward God’s light I lean.

Not mortal voice but Truth’s be heard.
Meekly listening, I hear Thy Word.

No touch but Spirit’s felt—
See the graven image melt.

No mortal songs; let Soul’s be sung—
Holy in praise, humble in tongue.

No willful ways do we keep.
Following Love, we are God’s sheep.

Not my work but Mind’s I do,
Ever wise, innocent, true.

No human form do I outline,
Tracing purely immortal design.

Not by self—by Life I live.
Love for God and man I give.
