I chose the God option

Recently, I had to call our telecommunications service provider to transfer my phone and Internet services to a new office location. When I finally navigated my way through an endless number of menu options, I told the customer service representative that I wanted to cancel my old Internet service and restart it at my new space. I politely waited for her to pull up my records. Without asking me when I wanted to stop service, she deleted my account without further question.

“Not yet,” I protested. “Cancel the service two weeks from now, not today!”

“Oh, it’s too late,” she replied.
