Let us be with God
John Pendleton
Originally appeared on spirituality.com
Let us be one with grace,
as we awake each day.
Let us silently listen,
to all that wisdom will say.
Let us be guided by light divine,
to lay human will to rest.
Let us be filled with inspiration,
that lifts us from brokenness.
Let us banish all fleshly ills,
as their dark dream flees.
Let us follow, with hearts craving purity,
the path down which God leads.
