If you’ve ever felt victimized, you may well have asked yourself in a difficult moment, “Do I have to be a victim?” Do we, in fact, have a choice? Although it often appears that experience is random and that circumstances have the upper hand, a spiritual standpoint can show us something entirely different—a way to approach life that’s reliable, that shows good to be natural, and that’s anchored in the power and law of God. Hear from people, in a variety of situations, who were able to shed the label “victim” through a better understanding of God and of themselves.
