Finding the home that's best for you

Janet Clements, C.S.B.

In this Q & A chat, Janet Clements, a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science answers a wide-range of questions about moving to a new location, feeling a sense of home at work, selling a house in a soft market, hesitation about buying, and more.

Referring to the Psalmist, Mary Baker Eddy noted, we "dwell in the house (the consciousness) of (LOVE) for ever" (Science and Health, p. 578). Janet explains that each of us is already at home in God’s infinite universe. This concept of home is expansive, she says. Based on love, a spiritual sense of home can't be in disrepair, downsized, discordant, or out of reach. And prayer based on these ideas will have a practical effect on our living arrangements.

Janet shares her own experiences, including the powerful results of turning to prayer when her back yard was vandalized, and how prayer revealed an unexpected resolution to a real estate dilemma.
