The Master

He walked in the paths of the lowly,He sat at the rich man's feast,With ever a word for the highest,And ever a thought for the least.
To-day , while reading in the book of Luke,I came upon the story where 't is toldHow Jesus, entering into Simon's house,Found there a woman sick with fever sore; How he stood over her, rebuking it,So that she thereupon did straightway riseAnd—oh, assuredly with eager love—She ministered to them.

Take me as a little child, I pray Thee;Fold me in Thy all-protecting wings; There, in perfect union with Thy spirit,Do I feel the peace faith ever brings.

"Our God is Love"

Our God, who is abundant Love,Will give us all we need; But we must keep our thoughts aboveThe grasping sense of greed.

"As a little child"

If you would reach the heights ahead, then let God lead you there,Just follow His wise guidance and accept His tender care,And never for an instant let your thought or steps turn back,You'll lose all sense of hardship, and you'll gain whate'er you lack.

Love is Ever Present

Sometimes the days seem dreary,Sometimes the hours seem long;Sometimes our hearts seem weary,And kind friends all seem gone.

Changeless Love

Now mortal men believeThe earth revolves; In twilight grayThe light declines,Then deeper shadows fall;Night follows day.

Gratitude

For every word of healing TruthI thank Thee, Lord, to-day.

O Love Divine!

Lord, let me sing to Thee my songs of praise,For I would dedicate to Thee my days.
