A Prayer

Lord, grant me patienceTo bear the little things that seem to irk —The petty hates, the jealousies that lurkIn daily contact with my fellow man—These cannot hurt me, if I only canMore patient be.

Stronghold

Go publish ye the glory of the Lord,His uninvaded power; So publishing and praising, tell the newsOf man's exhaustless dower.

Freedom

Sin has no power to bind you,Child of God.

Faith

Be thou content with one step at a time And, seeing it, walk thou the way God leads; He will make plain the purpose of His plan; Doubt not that He will furnish all thy needs.

A Prayer

Dear God, before Thee here I meekly bow,And pray that Thou wouldst teach me humbleness.

Love

A loving look, a word of truth, And lo! the Christ is there, Bringing a sense of harmony, Divine, beyond compare.
