TRANSMUTATION

A wilderness of thoughtdevoid of truthis far more barethan parchèd desert waste.

FOOTSTEPS

Serene the stepsOf him who walksAlone with God each day.
With joy we gathered here; expectantlyWe wait the blessing of this holy hour.

It must have made Peter's heart singWhen, after he'd called DorcasBack from the shadow of death,The people of Joppa seeing, believing,Gave all the praise unto God.

OUT OF EGYPT

Still the cloudy, fiery visionMoves before our lifted gaze,And the world and its derision,Its allure, its dusty praise,Never dim this present wonder,Only bid our hearts to prayThat Mount Sinai's tenfold thunderKeep our footsteps in the way.
