Sing of Peace

MARY held the babe, and gentlySang of peace.

Joyous Singing

When the Christmas bells are ringing All my being answers, singing! Singing softly through the twilight, Singing gladly of the Christ-light! Singing for the wrongs forgotten; Singing for the good begotten; Singing with a cadence holy, Singing with a spirit lowly!

I Met a Shepherd Singing

I met a shepherd singingAs night drew downLike a tattered shawlWith its edges torn.

Consolation

Father , shed Thy light around us,Let us feel Thy presence near;Let not mortal sense confound us;Heal us of all doubt and fear.

"While he blessed"

While he blessed them where they stood—Peter, Thomas, all but one—Such a father-motherhood,Such a boundless benison,

Our Father

"Our Father," what security is thereEach time we rest upon this sacred tie!To know this blest relationship is prayerThat brings us peace and lifts our thoughts on high.
