THE NEEDLE'S EYE

Stones that bruise the straying footWe treasure for the lessons taught;Allure of alien, dazzling fruitWe see to be a specious thought.

RESTFULNESS

SAFE ABIDING

O Tender Father-Mother, Love, forever strong and near at hand, enfolding me and all mankindand teaching us to understandthe goodness of Thy universe, how all-embracing is Thy care! How safe Thy universe from fear, where we live, in eternal Life,in Love's sweet presence, now and here.
My people shall not ever be ashamed—Sweet promise ringing down the path of years! Not even memory of heart untamedCan darken present bliss with shame or tears; For infinite and all-inclusive MindContains no record of the unclean thing,The fault, the failure, or the deed unkind,The faltering footstep, or the broken wing.

AGELESSNESS

God's gracious image, man, is always whole.

At evening when all is stillI seeNo burden of the day belongedTo me.

ASSURANCE

A rich heritage would be my ownIf I were the loved daughterOf a king;I should not need to see the goldOr touch the jewelsIn the coffers of the kingdom,But ever should be awareOf my father's richesAnd of his tender, constant care.

TRUE CLASSIFICATION

Not henceforth after the fleshKnow we any man,But after the Christly pattern—The Father's plan.
