BUILDING ANEW

Sometimes we stand amid the wreck of hope—Our crumbled houses built upon the sand.

FREEDOM

When you have reached in prayer the Horeb height,Washed you and made you clean from every blame,When you have seen the Father's face alightAnd heard Him call your new and lovely name,The shattered golden bowl will be forgot,The silver cord be taut in that chaste hour;And though the earth road seem again your lot,You cannot be a bondsman any more!
