Is the night long?

TO A READER

I Do not need, dear friend, to wishThat God will bless your work and you,For I have seen with vision clearA heart prepared, an ear attuned.

Our harvest time is always here.
We waited, with the upper rooms of thoughtPrepared for Truth, with hope and faith and loveAll ready for the message from above,The bread of heaven with humble longing bought.

CHRIST'S ETERNAL GLORY

Aganist the background of the sea he taught;The crowd were silent, hung upon each word,Wondered, yet felt that this was what they sought,This Truth the Christ, for so their hearts averred.
