OUR ROUTE

A space ship to an outer world?

PRAYER

Lord, when my brother comes to me in pain,Wounded by that sharp two-edged sword, the tongue,When human sympathies have all proved vain,And still with tattered pride his heart is hung—Then show me how to speak to him that WordQuicker and sharper than the two-edged sword.

SERENITY

Time is no moreAs this day wraps around meThe sweet serenity and utter joyThat follows work well done,The quiet consciousness of heart content,The memory of past precious hours spentIn earnest seeking what His will decreed,In glorifying Him in word, in thought, in deed.

PROGRESS

Progress is a word of challengeTo man's upward-soaring thought,And to compass its achievementMen and nations long have sought.

MORNING

Awake to the light,Although the clouds are grayAcross the sightOf morning's eastward viewOf day.

RENEWAL

Though time, as finite estimate, seem real,And man by dreams of limitation bound,No travesty of sense assuming powerImpedes the course of Soul's renewing round.

MASTER GARDENER

Mary , beholding Jesus, thoughtShe saw instead the gardener.

SMALL THINGS

No mathematical concept stands alone,No fraction even to the nth degreeBut is related, linked, is an associate,Commensurate in import with summation,Within the accurate science of the whole.

THE LORD'S ANOINTED

Let mortal senseTouch not the Lord's anointed, man.
