God loves me! Can I sinkin sorrow as I thinkof His dear love for me?

AN UNDERSTANDING HEART

Should one's offense, another's scorn,Plant in my heart a pricking thorn;And I in judgment strive to seekRetaliating words to speak,Oh, let me follow wisdom's wayAnd humbly to our Father pray,"Give me—in mercy's, love's, accord—An understanding heart, dear Lord.

Dear Father, oh, forgive them.

LET SILENCE SPEAK

He answered Pilate not a word.

Our bread of Truth we now send forth to heal;Our wine, Love's inspiration, we now shareWith all receptive strangers everywhere,Through distribution of the Word.
