We've gathered a variety of guests for this series, each with wonderful spiritual insights and proof that these spiritual ideas are effective—even for something that looms large, like politics.

From Church

The demand for church

I like to think of each church that grows up in a community as that community's answered prayer for the presence of the saving Christ—the message of God's love for humanity.

Petition

Teach me how to yield, dear Father,To Thy great and holy power;Humbly do I ask it of TheeAs I listen hour by hourFor the holy inspirationWhich to man Thou dost impart,That which purifies and cleansesThe repentant human heart.

"While it is called To day"

Lord, Thou hast given us this dayIn whose clear light,Showing Thy might,We can most gratefully believeThat all the good for which we prayWe shall receive.

Except my lips first learn to sing,"To God the highest glory be,"I cannot hear the "Peace on earth"His messengers would bring to me.

Prayer

O guide my footsteps in the path that leadsTo peace, and may I chart the way with deedsOf simple kindness wrought with selfless love.

"The cup of blessing"

Dear heart , you have a cup to drink.

I Am Reflecting Thee

Look up—beholdThe presence of the Lord; For He has blessed youIn this very hour,This 'now" that isAnd was—shall ever be.
Let doubt be stilled, fear be destroyed,Trust take its rightful place; The love outpoured be amplified,That all may serve Thy grace.

Joy

Joy dwells within each consciousness.

The Practitioner

I would not seek to guide the way for others,Except in deep humility I walkThe narrow way of truth and noble purposeAnd with my heavenly Father daily talk.
