"Immortal cravings"*

Cannot be fed by nouvelle cuisinematerial statusor yet another trip, for the heart's deeper yearnings arefed only by the bread of Life, the practical understanding of Truth, the angel food of Love, which change the base ofthought and life from flesh to Spirit, nudging life ever upwardtoward the ever-at-homespiritual idea forever at onewith the all-embracingFather-Mother God.

To the wakeful one

If in the past-midnight darkness nagging unhealedworries angers fearssorrows pains doubtsfrom which your up-and-at-'em/off-and-runningdaytime busying successfully (you thought)cloaked and shielded younow—unbidden—prick you to uneasyall-unwilling half-awakeness,why lingerwallowing, drifting, resisting, postponinginevitable confrontationthe active Christ in you demands?
