The irony in the title of Rebecca Odegaard's article, "Take a second look," in the July 9, 2007, issue ["Always ready to pray"] is that this article did not impact me until I happened to look at it again in October! Now, scarcely a week has gone by that I haven't restudied the latter part of the article, starting especially with the paragraph that begins: "Human consciousness, as a little ego apart from God, thinks it knows something.
