My Shepherd and me

Watching the sheep and the farmer made me feel loved, too—like God was wrapping me up in a warm, woolly blanket.

Prayer helped me

I wasn’t going to sleep just then, but praying that prayer helped me feel God’s love. Then I said the “Daily Prayer” and the Lord’s Prayer.

One family—God’s!

Melody had to go to a new school, where she didn’t know anyone. As the first day got closer, she felt scared.

A healing of poison oak

A couple of hours later, every single bit of the rash and discomfort had completely vanished.
A poem written with children going back to school in mind.
I remembered what I’d learned in Christian Science Sunday School about how God is always with me and caring for me.

Helping a pelican

I felt God was telling me what to do and say. This made my doubts and fears go away.
