In
the measure in which it is now available, it has taken long centuries for spiritual truth to reach human consciousness; for the revelation of the truth about God and man, God's image, to reach humanity.
It
is as possible to walk with God now as it was in the days of the patriarchs or of the prophets of Israel, or as in the time of Christ Jesus—if one knows the way.
How often do men seem to be the slaves of circumstances, suffering from sickness or the effects of evil doing! Think of the fear that haunts many of them with regard to disease, fear lest they may become victims of it, lest they may contract it perhaps by contact with an unhealthy environment.
