When
one first feels the healing touch of the Christ, Truth, and has the unreality of disease proved to him by means of Christian Science, he is naturally grateful.
The
recognized accomplishments of Christian Science are so great, so varied, and so widespread as to evoke expressions of wonderment even from observers who are unacquainted with its spiritual teachings.
When
puzzled or dismayed by temptation, we may note with confidence that in the messages to the seven churches, found in the second and third chapters of Revelation, the uncovering of error and the demand for overcoming are accompanied by divine authority indicated in such words as, "These things saith the Son of God," or, "Let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
CHRIST JESUS'
recognition of the fact that God is immutable in nature and irresistible in expression led him to say with confident assurance, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
At
a Christian Science testimony meeting, such as is held regularly in every Christian Science church throughout the world, a man, in recounting his experience, stated that before he had been healed by Christian Science of what physicians had said was an incurable disease, he had read the Bible and had prayed earnestly for healing.
"Humble
yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you," writes Peter in the fifth chapter of his first epistle.
