Christian Science
lifts its adherents above a sense of personal conflict, or conflict with persons, and makes them realize that the only conflict is between error and Truth, the flesh and Spirit, material sense and Soul, or God.
Because
Christian Scientists have accepted certain broad and all-embracing truths of God and man, they are under obligation to carry out the implications of those truths.
Memorial Day
in the United States provides the occasion to commemorate the lives of those whose sacrifices in the military service of their country have contributed greatly to the freedom which people of many countries continue to enjoy.
Our
progress in Christian Science depends upon how clearly we differentiate between matter and Spirit and how willing we are to give up matter when we see what matter is and to replace it with Spirit in our consciousness of being.
