In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

Jesus was confidently clear that everyone’s source is the Spirit, Mind, and Love that is God.
My study and practice of Christian Science continued; however, I wasn’t what I would describe as “all in.”

Loving all God’s creatures

Nothing from God’s creation could harm her, because all of God’s creatures live together in peace and harmony.
Fighting was the norm between her and her sister, and this author didn’t like it. Then a dicussion about Christian Science brought to light a new perspective that changed everything.
It was time to lean out—to rely on God rather than capitulating to the fear that often accompanies physical challenges.

Our God-given birthright

A human decision couldn’t alter the absolute fact that man always will be an heir of God.
I felt the urge to turn to God, which was something I hadn’t done since I’d started the semester.

Prayer for the outcast

Christ decisively destroys whatever is unlike God—including distressing actions and reactions.

A victory over anxiety

I became so clear that our son had a divine right to go to school freely and do all the work required of him and that nothing could interfere with that.
If you feel like your worth depends on what other people think or say about you, you’re not alone. This author felt the same way, until he began exploring more about his identity from a spiritual perspective.
Through my study and practice of Christian Science, I have come to see that no matter how desperate the situation, no matter how impossible a happy outcome seems, there is always a solution.
When it seems impossible to forgive, we can follow the Master’s example of asking God to forgive others “for they know not what they do.”
