It is reasonable to suppose that the Christian Science practitioner who has healed the sick, knows how it was done and he will tell you that it is the "Mind which was in Christ" that heals, and those who do not know how the work was done may theorize, but the facts are not changed.

The true reason why "Christian Science makes converts" so easily "among people of all classes," and "why so many intelligent people accept it" is that "humanity's need of a Saviour" understands and welcomes the healing and redeeming Christ, the Christ of a daily living—not of a mystic, mediæval, theoretical theology,—but Immanuel, God with us.
Christian Science does not teach that there is no sin, pain, or sickness.
Christian Scientists do not disregard medicine through any blind faith in God or through a fanatical effort to be true to their religion; but they do it because they have an intelligent understanding of power of Truth to heal sickness as well as sin.
I am asked, "Do you expect to die?
Christian Science does not purpose to supplant primitive Christianity nor do anything destructive to the Bible; its mission is to make Christianity more practical and to reveal the hidden treasures of God's Word.

Regarding Evil

There is a peculiar mental philosophy afloat which declares that evil is a species of good, a lower form of good.
