Prepare to Conquer!

Spiritualization of human consciousness, gained through the study and application of Christian Science, is the means of righteous accomplishment.

Spiritual Treasure

The very word "treasure" arrests one's attention as denoting something to be wished for, something highly desirable.

Education

In his great Sermon on the Mount our Master, Jesus the Christ, clearly contrasts mental light and darkness, concluding his statements on the point with these words: "If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!" Christian Science accepts the Master's teaching, and shows that true education is spiritual enlightenment—conscious, practical realization of the omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence of God, good.

"Hour of development"

In a passage referring to the time when one finds oneself "solitary, left without sympathy," our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, on page 266 of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," points to the everpresence of divine Love, and says, "When this hour of development comes, even if you cling to a sense of personal joys, spiritual Love will force you to accept what best promotes your growth.

Giving and Receiving

The world, generally, regards the problem of supply for its daily needs as involving merely a getting process, whereas a little reasoning on the subject from the standpoint of Christian Science shows that the solving of this problem is primarily a giving or expressing process.
