In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

"Know thyself"

"Know thyself!" What a glorious, but searching command! And how, someone may ask, is one to know himself?

Being of Service

In one of the hymns in the Christian Science Hymnal we find these words:

Friendship

Friendship, one of the deepest and most important things in human experience, can certainly be considered a "human need," and the following statement from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy gives us assurance that such needs are met.

Divine Oneness

That divine oneness of cause and effect is the forever fact, is the beneficent revelation of Christian Science.

"The oil of gladness"

The world is learning that true happiness and joy have their source in spiritual understanding and right living, and not in any material condition or circumstance.
Those who have had no experience with Christian Science, its teaching and practice, may be inclined to dismiss it casually on the basis of what they believe it to be.
