In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

Why hath eye not seen?

How can we see more of what God has created, more of His goodness and power?
He seemed so out of place in our town.

Advancing years

If God is our Life, as the Bible implies, we aren't locked into a pattern of decline. We have infinite possibilities.
A poet said, "Stone walls do not a prison make," and the prisons of drug abuse, disease, sin, can sometimes seem more impenetrable than stone walls—until we find the healing Truth, which sets us free.

Second Thought

"'.
The freeing of hostages isn't just one more item for the negotiators' agenda. Each of us has a stake in freedom from terror, and we can bring to bear on this effort our God-given authority over all slavery.

No fear of the dark

God doesn't just keep us safe during the day; He's with us all the time.

"The beauty of the Lord"

To find the green pastures that God gives, we need to follow Love's shepherding.
In a world where innocent people too often suffer at the hands of cruelty and injustice, it may sometimes seem that prayer isn't of much practical help.

The unwise ostrich

It may be tempting to think we can escape problems if we run far enough away from them. Instead, healing comes as we "run with patience the race that is set before us," in the words of the Bible.

Pressing community needs—a Christly way to be of real service

No matter how small or large the community challenge, our prayer for inspired solutions is worth the effort.
This time of year many people are on the road—often carrying out missions of mercy and good will. We can bring a healing influence to our trip and to our fellow motorists as we trust more profoundly in God's ever-presence.
