Think singing thoughts

On the morning of the audition, I awoke with absolutely no voice. I had learned so much about the mental nature of activity through my study of Christian Science that it came to me very clearly that this was an opportunity to prove that singing is entirely mental and not dependent upon materiality at all.
Jesus healed—almost involuntarily—by the very nature of his oneness with God, his pure embodiment of “the ever-presence of ministering Love.”

"I feel like I can't quit"

This author felt trapped in a cycle of trying—and failing—to break free from an addiction. But after she began reading Science and Health, she discovered a new way of looking at herself that, to her surprise, brought quick and complete healing.
When the circumstances of the pandemic pulled her into a dark hole of restlessness and anxiety, this teen thought she could just ride out the misery until life went back to normal. But when that didn’t work, she found an even better answer in Christian Science.

This week’s photographic inspiration and related text.

Pain can be silenced

When our belief in material conditions ceases, pain ceases. God is proven to be the all-powerful, ever-present creator, the one Mind.
Each one of us is tenderly governed by spiritual law. Under this law, there is no evil source or influence—nothing that can wrongly divert any individual’s real purpose to bless.

Whale song

Whatever the difficulty may be, prayer is a way to go deeper and see and hear spiritual solutions that are simply not recognizable by staying on the material surface.

The importance of yielding

Though yielding to God ultimately opens the way for healing, the even more gratifying reward is the inner security and joy we are sure to feel from gaining clearer insights into our true, spiritual identity as Love’s cherished expression.
My prayers weren’t about altering a material ankle. They were all about being more clearly aware of my true, spiritual identity—my only identity—as Mind’s idea.
