God Changes Not

In our ceaseless longing to gain a higher understanding of God and live better lives, we war in thought with our surroundings, and keep pulling the cords of error closer and closer by ever recurring to the hope that to-morrow, next week, or perhaps the coming year we shall be in a changed position where we can make greater demonstrations or see more clearly the Light.

The Error of Worrying

Who can lift his eyes skyward, on a clear calm night, and see the myriads of planets, and stars quietly moving along their celestial orbits, and remember that for countless ages this beautiful order and harmony has existed, and entertain a doubt of the power, wisdom, and omnipresence of God who extablished and perpetuates the harmonious movement of these countless millions?
