Christian Science accepts unreservedly the teachings of Jesus Christ, and regards him as the Wayshower and Saviour of the world.
Our critic writes, "The Christian Scientist says that it is not necessary to know the origin of disease in order to cure it.
It is part of the fundamental teaching of Christian Science that there is no such thing as Christian psychology.
Our brother's sermon, while setting forth much that is true, befogs one fundamental fact and rule of procedure which should never be lost sight of, and that is the fact that Christ Jesus never employed drugs in healing, never employed anybody to make any diagnosis of diseases from a material standpoint, and never commanded his disciples to employ drugs or to have such diagnosis made, but he did command them to rely wholly on their faith, their knowledge of God.
Christian Science, or the Science of Christianity, is the knowledge of the Principle or law by which Christ Jesus demonstrated his system of doctrines and precepts.
In your last issue a clerical critic gives Christian Science a rebuff.
