This author had just started studying Christian Science when he took a canoe trip with his father that solidified his understanding that God’s guidance really is ever-present and powerful.

I was looking for a religion that heals

I knew that the truths in the Christian Science textbook had healed me. That left an impression that I still feel today.
A thousand generations” indicates God’s permanent, not sometimes or occasional, faithfulness. And we can be awake to His promise to us—His beloved, spiritual creation—that His peace and love are with us always.
