Beginning Again

In a poem written several years ago, entitled "The Land of Beginning Again," a writer expressed a great longing for time to be blotted out and a fresh beginning to be made, this new beginning to be on the basis of present wisdom gained from experience, with no unhappy past to be remembered.
In his second epistle, Peter exhorts the Christians to whom it was addressed to enter upon a more exalted state of holiness.
