No enemies

There was a time, not so long ago, when I felt as though I had been thrown into a den of lions! It was not exactly like the one Daniel was thrown into, and the lions had two legs instead of four, but it seemed to me that they could still snarl and growl and be very dangerous.
Perhaps most of us have the experience at one time or another.
I still laugh when I recall talking to a little girl I once met; she had an answer for everything! During our conversation I posed several questions for which there were no plausible answers.
A radio commercial urged me to "be ready" for summer with a particular brand of plastic-strip bandages.
